Zastavte sa a uvedomte si to

Možno je to pri prezeraní sociálnych sietí, keď vidíte kamarátku na dovolenke alebo kolegyňu, ktorá sa zdá byť vždy dokonale upravená a sebavedomá. V tej chvíli sa na chvíľu zastavte a uvedomte si, že sa porovnávate. Namiesto kritiky voči sebe si pokojne povedzte, že aj takýto pohľad je v poriadku, avšak bolo by lepšie zmýšľať inak. Nie je fér porovnávať svoj začiatok s niekoho stredom. Každá z nás má iný príbeh, iné tempo a iné ciele. Skúste si preto napísať, čo je pre vás osobne dôležité: nie pre svet, ale pre vás samotnú. Možno je to viac času s rodinou, zdravšie telo, pokojnejšia myseľ alebo odvaha robiť nové veci. Keď sa budete riadiť vlastnými hodnotami, prestanete sa neustále porovnávať s ostatnými.

Taktiež keď sa pristihnete, že sa opäť porovnávate, nesúďte sa za to.

Sebaláska neznamená, že sa nikdy necítite zle: znamená, že sa k sebe správate láskavo aj v týchto chvíľach. Dovoľte si byť nedokonalá, pretože práve v tej nedokonalosti sa ukrýva vaša jedinečnosť.

Prvým krokom je všimnúť si, kedy sa porovnávate.

Zastavte sa a uvedomte si to

Možno je to pri prezeraní sociálnych sietí, keď vidíte kamarátku na dovolenke alebo kolegyňu, ktorá sa zdá byť vždy dokonale upravená a sebavedomá. V tej chvíli sa na chvíľu zastavte a uvedomte si, že sa porovnávate. Namiesto kritiky voči sebe si pokojne povedzte, že aj takýto pohľad je v poriadku, avšak bolo by lepšie zmýšľať inak. Začnite postupne a zmeňte vnímanie sveta okolo vás.

Zmeňte otázku

Namiesto toho, aby ste si kládli otázku „Prečo nie som ako ona?“, skúste sa spýtať, čo vás na tej osobe inšpiruje. Premýšľajte, čo by ste mohli urobiť pre seba, aby ste sa cítili lepšie alebo spokojnejšie.

Takto sa vaša pozornosť presunie z nedostatku na rast. Ak sa zameriate na to, čo môžete zlepšiť budete neustále rásť a prirodzene sa posúvať.

Vlastný svet

Nie je fér porovnávať svoj začiatok s niekoho stredom. Každá z nás má iný príbeh, iné tempo a iné ciele. Skúste si preto napísať, čo je pre vás osobne dôležité: nie pre svet, ale pre vás samotnú. Možno je to viac času s rodinou, zdravšie telo, pokojnejšia myseľ alebo odvaha robiť nové veci. Keď sa budete riadiť vlastnými hodnotami, prestanete sa neustále porovnávať s ostatnými.

Taktiež keď sa pristihnete, že sa opäť porovnávate, nesúďte sa za to.

Sebaláska neznamená, že sa nikdy necítite zle: znamená, že sa k sebe správate láskavo aj v týchto chvíľach. Dovoľte si byť nedokonalá, pretože práve v tej nedokonalosti sa ukrýva vaša jedinečnosť.

Malý experiment

A čo tak vyskúšať techniku, ktorá vám zaručene pomôže cítiť sa lepšie?

Každé ráno si napíšte tri veci, ktoré na sebe oceňujete. Nemusia to byť veľké úspechy. Stačí, že si poviete: dnes som vstala skôr, hoci sa mi nechcelo. Alebo: mám pekný úsmev. Alebo: zvládla som deň bez výčitiek. Skúste tento zvyk udržať aspoň 21 dní. Uvidíte, že váš pohľad na seba sa začne meniť.

Váš mozog sa postupne naučí zameriavať na to dobré a zrazu zistíte, že sa už nepotrebujete porovnávať. Pretože konečne vidíte vlastnú hodnotu.

Porovnávanie sa s inými ženami je pasca, do ktorej padáme častejšie, než si chceme priznať. Sociálne siete, dokonalé fotky, či úspech v práci: to všetko vytvára dojem, že ostatní majú viac ako my a nám stále niečo chýba. Pravda je však jednoduchá: porovnávanie nám berie pokoj, radosť aj sebavedomie. A pritom existuje spôsob, ako sa z tohto kruhu vymaniť.
