Preplachovaním zbavujete ryžu aj škrobu, ktorý je zdrojom sacharidov. Preto sa tento úkon oplatí vždy dodržať. Samozrejme, že ryža nebude mať o 50 kalórii menej, ale ak je pravidelnou súčasťou vašich pokrmov, každá kalória sa počíta.

Ak ste doteraz preplachovanie ryže vynechávali vedzte, že je to chyba. V tejto surovine sa totiž stále objavujú stopy jedovatého arzénu, ktorý je pre telo škodlivý a jediný spôsob, ako ho eliminovať je, ryžu dôkladne umyť.

Len sitko nestačí

Pri premývaní ryže nestačí len vložiť ju do sitka a trošku prepláchnuť pod tečúcou vodou. Ideálne je vysypať ryžu do misky, zaliať ju studenou vodou, nechať chvíľku postáť a následne poriadne poumývať a vodu niekoľkokrát vymeniť, až kým nebude číra. Je to síce zdĺhavejšie, no v tomto prípade sa to naozaj vyplatí.

Tento istý postup nevynechajte ani v prípade, že si pripravujete naturálnu ryžu. Okrem spomínaného arzénu zbavíte vo vode ryžu aj prachu a škrobu, vďaka čomu sa bude pri varení menej lepiť.

Diétnejšia ryža

Preplachovaním zbavujete ryžu aj škrobu, ktorý je zdrojom sacharidov. Preto sa tento úkon oplatí vždy dodržať. Samozrejme, že ryža nebude mať o 50 kalórii menej, ale ak je pravidelnou súčasťou vašich pokrmov, každá kalória sa počíta.
