Ovocie a zeleninu prezradí farba aj konzistencia

Na čerstvosti mäsa si dajte zodpovedne záležať

Mäso a ryby sú potraviny, ktoré rýchlo podliehajú skaze. Žalúdočné problémy po konzumácií starého mäsa môžu byť naozaj veľmi nepríjemné. Na výbere mäsa si preto vždy dajte mimoriadne záležať.

Ovocie a zeleninu prezradí farba aj konzistencia

  • Farba mäsa – čerstvé červené mäso je tmavej farby, divina tmavo hnedú a čerstvé bravčové mäso má ružovú farbu. Čerstvá hydina môže mať rôznu farbu. V poriadku je aj modrobiela a žltá.
  • Kvalitné mäso spoznáte podľa čistých rezov a v prípade viackusového balenia aj podľa kúskov približne rovnakej veľkosti.
  • Štruktúra mäsa by mala pôsobiť pevne a husto. Ak mäso vyzerá akoby sa išlo práve rozpadnúť, dôvodom je zrejme nesprávna manipulácia s mäsom pri preprave.
  • Pri balenom mäse kontrolujte aj jeho obal. Vyhnite sa kúpe mäsa v akokoľvek poškodenom obale.
  • Rybu ľahko zhodnotíte podľa jej očí a tzv. testom prstom. Oči čerstvej ryby nie sú zapadnuté a nemajú bielu vrstvu. Test prstom vykonáte jednoducho – pichnite do ryby prstom. Čerstvá ryba sa vráti do predchádzajúceho tvaru.

  • Kôrka – pečivo s pripálenou kôrkou bude mať horkú chuť. Naopak príliš bledá kôrka je signálom, že pečivo nebolo dostatočne upečené.
  • Balenie pečiva – nikdy nekupujte balené pečivo, ktorého obal je orosený. Takéto pečivo je náchylné na plesne a rýchlo sa pokazí.
  • Farba – farba pečiva vám môže napríklad prezradiť triky ako prifarbené pečivo vydávajúce sa za celozrnné.

Kvalita ponúkaného tovaru, jeho správne skladovanie a čerstvosť by mala byť prioritou každého obchodníka s potravinami.
