Priscilla Wagner žila kočovným životom. Po tom, čo sa jej mama vydala za leteckého dôstojníka, sa rodina dočasne presťahovala do Nemecka. Málokto by čakal, že práve tam sa zoznámi s jednou z najväčších hviezd súčasnosti - rock'n'rollovým kráľom Elvisom Presleym. V tom čase tam bol totiž americkou armádou vyslaný aj známy spevák.
Ich prvé stretnutie sa datuje na rok 1959. Priscilla mala len 14 rokov, keď sa na pozvanie dostala do spoločnosti Elvisa. Ten mladú krásku okamžite zaregistroval a venoval jej hneď niekoľko piesní. Na toto obdobie si do dnešného dňa Priscilla spomína s úsmevom: ,,Videla som, ako sa ma Elvis snaží upútať. Všimla som si, že čím menej reakcií som prejavila, tým viac spieval len pre mňa. Nemohla som uveriť tomu, že sa na mňa snaží zapôsobiť.'
Na obdobie, kedy sa musel Elvis vrátiť do Spojených štátov, Priscilla spomína nerada. Počula o jeho občasných aférach s inými ženami, no odmietala tomu uveriť. Vedela totiž, že Elvis ju miluje. Dvojica si však síce pravidelne vymieňala zamilované listy, darčeky a odkazy, no Presley bol tiež známy ako večný sukničkár. Popritom mal skutočne niekoľko afér so známymi ženami. Paradoxne však na Priscille oceňoval jej vernosť a oddanosť. V momente, keď dosiahla dospelosť, pricestovala za ním do Spojených štátov, kde si ho zobrala za muža. Ak ste však čakali pompézny svadobný obrad, ste na omyle. Ich sobáš trval len niekoľko minút a odohral sa v Las Vegas.
Už krátko po svadbe sa dvojici narodila dcéra Lisa. Ich manželstvo však začalo postupne upadať a Priscilla si napriek neskutočnej láske, ktorú k Elvisovi cítila, začala uvedomovovať, že niečo nie je v poriadku. Elvis sa ju totiž stále snažil pretvoriť a dokonca ju údajne odmietal vidieť bez mejkapu. Ukázať sa mu mohla stále až perfektne nalíčená. V tom čase sa začalo špekulovať aj o problémoch speváka s drogami či údajnými aférkami. Priscilla mu tak s ťažkým srdcom v roku 1972 oznámila, že od neho odchádza. Napriek tomu však ostali dobrými priateľmi, až do spevákovej smrti...

Priscilla Wagner žila kočovným životom. Po tom, čo sa jej mama vydala za leteckého dôstojníka, sa rodina dočasne presťahovala do Nemecka. Málokto by čakal, že práve tam sa zoznámi s jednou z najväčších hviezd súčasnosti - rock'n'rollovým kráľom Elvisom Presleym. V tom čase tam bol totiž americkou armádou vyslaný aj známy spevák.
Ich prvé stretnutie sa datuje na rok 1959. Priscilla mala len 14 rokov, keď sa na pozvanie dostala do spoločnosti Elvisa. Ten mladú krásku okamžite zaregistroval a venoval jej hneď niekoľko piesní. Na toto obdobie si do dnešného dňa Priscilla spomína s úsmevom: ,,Videla som, ako sa ma Elvis snaží upútať. Všimla som si, že čím menej reakcií som prejavila, tým viac spieval len pre mňa. Nemohla som uveriť tomu, že sa na mňa snaží zapôsobiť.'
Na obdobie, kedy sa musel Elvis vrátiť do Spojených štátov, Priscilla spomína nerada. Počula o jeho občasných aférach s inými ženami, no odmietala tomu uveriť. Vedela totiž, že Elvis ju miluje. Dvojica si však síce pravidelne vymieňala zamilované listy, darčeky a odkazy, no Presley bol tiež známy ako večný sukničkár. Popritom mal skutočne niekoľko afér so známymi ženami. Paradoxne však na Priscille oceňoval jej vernosť a oddanosť. V momente, keď dosiahla dospelosť, pricestovala za ním do Spojených štátov, kde si ho zobrala za muža. Ak ste však čakali pompézny svadobný obrad, ste na omyle. Ich sobáš trval len niekoľko minút a odohral sa v Las Vegas.
Už krátko po svadbe sa dvojici narodila dcéra Lisa. Ich manželstvo však začalo postupne upadať a Priscilla si napriek neskutočnej láske, ktorú k Elvisovi cítila, začala uvedomovovať, že niečo nie je v poriadku. Elvis sa ju totiž stále snažil pretvoriť a dokonca ju údajne odmietal vidieť bez mejkapu. Ukázať sa mu mohla stále až perfektne nalíčená. V tom čase sa začalo špekulovať aj o problémoch speváka s drogami či údajnými aférkami. Priscilla mu tak s ťažkým srdcom v roku 1972 oznámila, že od neho odchádza. Napriek tomu však ostali dobrými priateľmi, až do spevákovej smrti...
